Gina M. Warren, Pharm.D.
Neighborhood Wellness Foundation Board President & CEO

Gina received her Doctorate in Clinical Pharmacy in 1996 from the University of California, San Francisco. She has over twenty years of pharmacy experience in many different areas of practice. In corporate pharmacy benefits management (PBM), Dr. Warren developed clinical programs to improve cost efficiencies with patient adherence to medication, analyzed clinical aspects of pharmaceutical contracts to assist with negotiations and served on several Pharmacy  & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee Teams. In her clinical role, she worked in cooperation with physicians and other allied health care providers with comprehensive medication review to ensure the effective management of patients on chronic medication, managed patients in the anticoagulation clinic, and served as a Preceptor to Pharm.D candidates.

For the community, Dr. Warren has been a member of the  Health Sacramento Coalition since 2013 and their Steering Committee co-chair in 2016-2017.  She served as the Health & Human Services Facet chair for the Sacramento Chapter of the Links, Inc., and the chair for the Annual North Sacramento Community Wellness Expo, and Christmas for Neighbors event.

Marilyn is the retired CEO of the Institute for Fiduciary Education (IFE). She joined IFE in 1986 was  CEO and an owner of the company for nearly 25 years. IFE provided educational seminars for large institutional investors including public pension funds, endowments, foundations and corporations. These programs focused on understanding and developing investment and portfolios strategies for a variety of asset classes. Marilyn managed the day to day operations of the company, designed program curriculum and implemented new technologies to promoted operational efficiencies.

Marilyn volunteers at the Neighborhood Wellness Foundation as a way of giving back to the community. She wants to share her knowledge and skills to create meaningful change in a community that she has know most of her life. She is committed to enriching and promoting quality health and wellness opportunities for all neighborhood residents.
